Season Builder is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping athletes and coaches grow in character, leadership, and purpose through mentorship, personal development, and values-based training programs.

We primarily serve college and professional athletes, athletic teams, and coaches who want to develop strong personal character and intentional team culture.

Season Builder is registered as a 501(c)3 non profit service organization, no specifically faith based. But Season Builder was founded by a Christian and the programs are rooted in Christian values and principles. And our programs are accessible and impactful for participants of all backgrounds. Our focus is loving and serving all people.

We are funded primarily through generous donors that know young people need a trusted mentor in their life. They may not have the calling or be in a season of life to mentor, but they have a heart of generosity and provide the funds to support those that are called and able. A secondary growing funding source is team culture workshops. Schools or teams pay for us to equip them with a framework and tools to implement a values based cultures. This covers approximately 25% of our budget.

We purposely do not charge a fee in order to communicate to the mentee unconditional love and care. We are not serving them because they are paying us to or we are not showing up because we are being paid. We are serving them and showing up because God has called and equipped us for this work. Money can skew motives. We want our motives to stay pure.

Not in our experience. Care, love, interest, support, guidance, non judgement, trust, and consistency keeps them showing up. Seeing their own life start to change keeps them showing up. As of today, 240 individuals have engaged in Season Builder. 216 have completed the 13 week program. That is a 90% completion rate. This proves money is not necessary to keep them engaged.

The Season Builder program for athletes is a structured mentorship program designed to help athletes develop their vision, character, mindset, and habits. It includes one-on-one coaching and focuses on personal growth both on and off the field.

The program helps athletes navigate challenges and realize their their potential in their sport and purpose in life.

Athletes can join the Season Builder program by completing the Interest Form. Once the request is received, we will reach out for an initial discussion and determination if Season Builder is a good fit for them.

The program lasts 13 weeks. It is best to start the program in January/February or August/September timeframes but any 13 week timeframe can be accommodated.

Yes. We utilize Zoom and FaceTime to connect with athletes and coaches that are outside of our area including international. We will travel anywhere if our travel expenses can be covered. We always prefer in person but utilize technology to keep down costs.

It's for any team or athletic department that is trying to build unity, instill character (i.e. resilience, humility, accountability, responsibility), and create an environment that produces consistent results.

We do an onsite culture development workshop with the coaching staff(s) where we define the teams/departments Vision, Values, Mindsets, and Standards (both on and off the field). All of this is then delivered in a customized app complete with a plan to teach and train the staff and players on the culture

The price for the workshop starts at $1500* for a team and increases incrementally based on the number of teams we are serving at a school. We can also quote a prices for establishing an athletic department wide culture. *plus travel expenses

Yesterday. All kidding aside, the sooner the better. It would be very difficult to implement in the middle of a season so the best time to time to engage in this process is in the preseason or off season depending on how much access you have to your players in the off season.
