Season Builder is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping athletes and coaches grow in character, leadership, and purpose through mentorship, personal development, and values-based training programs.

We primarily serve college and professional athletes, athletic teams, and coaches who want to develop strong personal character and intentional team culture.

Season Builder is registered as a 501(c)3 non profit service organization, no specifically faith based. But Season Builder was founded by a Christian and the programs are rooted in Christian values and principles. And our programs are accessible and impactful for participants of all backgrounds. Our focus is loving and serving all people.

We are funded primarily through generous donors that know young people need a trusted mentor in their life. They may not have the calling or be in a season of life to mentor, but they have a heart of generosity and provide the funds to support those that are called and able.

A secondary growing funding source is team culture workshops. Schools or teams pay for us to equip them with a framework and tools to implement a values based cultures. This covers approximately 25% of our budget.

We purposely do not charge a fee in order to communicate to the mentee unconditional love and care. We are not serving them because they are paying us to or we are not showing up because we are being paid. We are serving them and showing up because God has called and equipped us for this work. Money can skew motives. We want our motives to stay pure.

Not in our experience. Care, love, interest, support, guidance, non judgement, trust, and consistency keeps them showing up. Seeing their own life start to change keeps them showing up. As of today, 240 individuals have engaged in Season Builder. 216 have completed the 13 week program. That is a 90% completion rate. This proves money is not necessary to keep them engaged.
